Tube to Tube Reduction Inquiry

U. S. Steel Tubular Products will undertake the conversion of tubes from a single OD/wall combination to an alternative OD/wall combination based on the capabilities of our sizing mill. The associated functionality will assist you in determining the capabilities we offer. All inquiries and orders will be handled based on the following terms and conditions:

Terms and Conditions
  • Dimension requirements are taken on best effort basis; we do not guarantee a yield performance.
  • U. S. Steel Tubular Products is not responsible for the inspectability of the resulting tubulars.
  • U. S. Steel Tubular Products will perform mechanical tests on the material for an additional charge. The charge is based on an agreed upon specification determined at the time of order acceptance. U. S. Steel Tubular Products does not guarantee the resulting physical properties of the material.
  • Customer must provide chemistry analysis of the material or compensate U. S. Steel Tubular Products for the associated chemical test before processing begins.
  • Material must arrive at the U. S. Steel Tubular Products location distinctly sorted by unique identification (such as heat #)
  • Tube length must be a minimum of 25 feet and tubes over 60 feet must be split.
  • Length estimate is based on information provided. U. S. Steel Tubular Products does not guarantee resulting lengths.
  • Tubular ends must be cut and deburred for safety in handling and entry into the processing mill.
  • All scrap material as a result of the U. S. Steel Tubular Products attempt to convert material will be considered the property of U. S. Steel Tubular Products
  • U. S. Steel Tubular Products makes no warranty, expressed or implied, in regards to the merchantability or fitness of the material for a particular use.
  • Tolerances for the tubular dimensions are mean averages of statistical tolerances.
