Lone Star Steel has manufactured tubular steel products for over 45 years, beginning with the manufacturing of Oil Country Tubular Goods and Line Pipe in 1953 and entering into Specialty Tubing in 1969. Lone Star Steel continues to be at the forefront of steel pipe and tube making today.

More than 1,500 dedicated employees can manufacture and finish over 1,000,000 tons of pipe and tubes in sizes ranging from .875 inch (22.23 mm) to 16.125 inch (409.58 mm) outside diameter.

Lone Star became the first domestic steel tube and pipe producer to be certified to ISO 9001. Lone Star is proud of this achievement and recognizes that ISO 9001 is the platform on which to build a total quality management system
