Star Tubular Services Inc

Star Tubular Services, Inc. is an 1100 acre subsidiary of Lone Star Steel Company located seven miles from the main plant in Lone Star, Texas.

Available twenty-four hours a day, there are twelve covered buildings for on site inspection. Twenty-four hour security assures controlled and audited movements of all material both in and out of the yard.


For all transportation needs, both rail and truck services are available. Rail service is provided by a short link of the T & N Railway to the Kansas City Southern Lines. There are fifteen miles of railroad track within the facility.

Numerous tubular related services are available, such as receiving, storage, threading, hydrostatic testing, drifting and pipe maintenance.
